American Powertrain needed to build excitement around the launch of their TREMEC TKX 5-speed transmission kit, specifically targeting muscle car enthusiasts. The challenge was to visually capture the power and precision of the product while resonating with a legacy-loving audience. Centered around Jerry Rice’s 1970 Chevelle, this full-page ad—featured in Wheel Hub Magazine—blends striking photography with bold, minimal design to evoke the feeling of “perfection in black and blue.” The final piece positions the TKX kit as the ideal performance upgrade, delivering both form and function for Chevelle purists and performance-driven builders alike.
